Abstract

محبت مجھے اُن جوانوں سے ہے

ستاروں پہ جو ڈالتے ہیں کمند

Planning a student's future career path is essential during their studies and profession. They must be given opportunities to choose the greatest vocation that fits their interests and skills. However, our educational system falls short of this. In the meantime, motivational leadership involves encouraging students to attain their goals using supportive inducements and cognitive processes. Since Iqbal's poetry is a particularly potent source of motivation for youths, the purpose of this research is to explore motivational leadership traits for students' career planning. As Iqbal narrates:

رہبر کے اِیماسےہواتعلیم کا سودا مجھے

واجب ہے صحراگردپرتعمیلِ فرمانِ خضر

By the leaders suggestions love of education developed in me

Obeying the command of Khizar is incumbent on the wander of the wilderness

Qualitative method was used in this research to explore motivational leadership traits in Iqbal’s poetry. Using content analysis technique, data is collected and analyzed with the help of Nvivo. Findings show that Iqbal's poetry has a variety of inspiring leadership qualities that may be used to students' career planning. This study concludes with a theoretical Motivational Leadership Career (MLC) model for students career path planning. A student will be able to assess himself using this model, seek once again for hidden traits, and make decisions for practical action. Practice of this model in the educational field of study and professional career will display the expected results by the students.
